Athman a mason told police that he was standing outside the bar when the explosion occured A Mombasa court on Monday released a man arrested in connection with the grenade attack at Jericho bar in Mishomoroni that left three people dead. Mr Athuman Salim Kassim was acquitted for lack of evidence. The suspect from Kaloleni in Kilifi County was arrested while receiving treatment for injuries sustained in the explosion last month. He who was admitted at the Coast General Hospital with leg and hand injuries had denied being involved in the incident. Athman, a mason told police during questioning that he was standing outside the bar when grenades were hurled at the bar.
