Waititu slams Raila over CORRUPTION and PEV

Monday July 30, 2012 - Embakasi MP Ferdinand Waititu has hit out at Prime Minister Raila Odinga requesting him to respond on all allegations of corruption raised by Miguna Miguna’s book, Peeling Back the Mask.

Speaking at Kangema Constituency on Sunday, the MP said Raila must answer to Kenyans on the allegations raised on the book on mega corruption in his office, nepotism on State jobs and Kazi Kwa Vijana initiative scandal which were carried over his shoulders.

Waititu, who has been nicknamed the “stone thrower” gave the Prime Minister two weeks to respond to allegations or call for a major demonstration in Nairobi to evict him out at his office on Harambee Avenue.

On his part, Nairobi Metropolitan Minister Jamleck Kamau called for President Mwai Kibaki to appoint a new commission on 2007 poll violence to conduct fresh investigations to nail the” real” perpetrators of the violence that killed 1133 people and left over 650,000 displaced.

Jamleck said the book by Miguna Miguna has brought up a fascinating glimpse of what went on during the 2007 post election violence.
