Ruto to spend Sh50 million in Europe and UAE

Monday July 30, 2012 - Eldoret North MP William Ruto’s campaign team will spend Sh 5o million in a three week campaign tour in the Middle East and Europe.
United Republican Party (URP) activist Zaheer Jhanda is scheduled to lead the team which will comprise of wealthy youthful supporters of the presidential hopeful, to drum up support for the party and its flag bearer.
The team will tour Britain, UAE, France, Belgium Sweden, Germany Norway and Netherlands.
They will also hold conferences in different hotels in the named countries to try to woo Diaspora voters to vote for the party and its presidential hopeful.
There are over three million Kenyan Diaspora voters and every presidential aspirant is trying to get the fraction of the much needed cake!
