Leaders have been warned against dismissing opinion poll results.
Infotrak Harris Managing Director Angela Ambitho on Sunday said leaders dismissing the findings of pollsters were only dismissing the views of Kenyans.
“The figures we give reflect the views of Kenyans and not those of pollsters... We scientifically show what Kenyans want, think and say,” she said.
The pollsters have in the recent past been criticised by some presidential aspirants who have been rated lowly in recent polls.
Desperate Kenyans
While launching her campaign secretariat last week, Narc-Kenya presidential torchbearer Martha Karua, whom the findings have consistently rated at five per cent, referred to the pollsters as “desperate Kenyans who are trying to earn a living”.
But speaking on Sunday while releasing findings of another survey conducted on national values, Ms Ambitho said leaders who dismiss polls findings will have themselves to blame when Kenyans finally speak out at the ballot.
According to the survey, a majority of Kenyans want their next president to be a person of high integrity and development conscious.
