'No' prayers

A section of churches are Saturday holding a prayer meeting at Uhuru Park where they are expected to officially launch the ‘No' campaign on the proposed draft constitution.

The churches have been critical on the Abortion clause and the Kadhis courts which they want amended in the draft before the forthcoming referendum.

Last week, the church leaders failed to reach a consensus with the state on the contentious issues.

They now say they will hold subsequent prayer meetings countrywide to sensitize Kenyans on the contents of the draft.
