Kiliku Dead

MOMBASA, Kenya, May 21 - Former Changamwe Member of Parliament Kennedy Kiliku is dead.

Mr Kiliku died as he was being rushed to hospital after experiencing breathing difficulties.

He was a renowned politician and trade unionist having at one time served as the Secretary General of the Dockworkers Union.

In 2002, he led the National Labour Party of Kenya into backing Simeon Nyachae to taking a shot at the Presidency.
