Those pushing for the proposed constitution launched their campaign in Nairobi, those calling for its rejection were in Machakos.

The group led by higher education minister, William Ruto and several church leaders, said Kenyans could get an even better constitution than the one being subjected to a referendum.

Politicians against the proposed constitution joined church leaders at the Mulu Mutisya grounds in Machakos to campaign against the new proposed laws.

Higher Education minister William Ruto and his communication counterpart Samuel Poghisio said Kenyans still have a chance to make the proposed constitution even better.
