Agriculture Minister Sally Kosgei has dismissed campaigns by her Higher Education counterpart William Ruto to defeat the Proposed Constitution at the referendum.
Dr Kosgei said Ruto’s push for a ‘No’ vote to facilitate amendments on the document before Kenyans endorse it in November is unattainable.
"Don’t listen to leaders telling you to vote ‘No’ at the August 4 referendum and vote ‘Yes’ in November. This is a scheme to mislead Kenyans because it is mission impossible," said the Aldai MP.
The minister spoke at Agro-chemical and Food Company in Muhoroni constituency during the launch of a Sh600 million Extra Neutral Alcoholic Plant yesterday. Ruto has been leading the ‘No’ campaign.
