Gitobu Imanyara defends Raila

Thursday July, 12, 2012- Imenti Central MP Gitobu Imanyara has hit at those questioning the credibility of Prime Minister Raila Odinga as a credible reformer.

Speaking to journalists on Wednesday, Imanyara said presidential hopefuls who did not appreciate those who sacrificed their lives for the second liberation and multipartyism cannot be trusted to lead the beautiful county.

“Some of those criticising the PM for his reform platform have nothing to show for themselves. This country has to bring an end the imperial presidency that some candidates want to ride on,”Imanyara said.

Imanyara, who joined Friends of Raila (FORA) a month ago, expressed confidence that the Prime Minister Raila Odinga will emerge the winner in the upcoming general elctions despite the enemy forces behind him.
