RAILA, Come clean on Miguna’s book! - Kalonzo

Thursday July 12, 2012 - Trouble seems to have started to rock on Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s presidential ambitions after; Vice-President Kalonzo Musyoka challenged the premier to come clean on the shocking revelations of mega corruption in his office in a book by his former coalition advisor Miguna Miguna.

The VP said Miguna Miguna, the author of Peeling Back the Mask, was a close advisor of the PM and should not be dismissed as a peddler of lies.

Kalonzo who is also Mwingi North legislator urged international organisations such as the United Nations to withdraw consultants working at the PM’s office.

“The UNDP and other multi-lateral organisations have many consultants in the PM’s office. With news of corruption there, they should get out,” Kalonzo said during a rally in Wote Town, Makueni County.

All leaders at the rally hailed words of praises for Mr Miguna for exposing weaknesses in the government.

Vicky Betty Chepkorir who is the Secretary General of Tuju’s Party of Action (POA) said “This book is the epitome of democracy for Kenyans, because it reveals secrets of the elite.”

Former Wundanyi MP Mwandawiro Mghanga saluted Mr Miguna for his boldness saying Kenya need leaders like Miguna Miguna who expose what goes on behind the corridors of power

“Mr Miguna shows great boldness to reveal the bad character in our leaders and secret corruption deals,”Mghanga said.
