Kalonzo pledges Kenya's economic growth

Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka on Sunday pledged to spearhead infrastructural transformation especially road networks to South Sudan and Uganda if elected president. Read (Elect honest leaders, Kalonzo urges)
He said this would hasten easy access of Kenya’s export to the land locked countries if elected the next president.
Mr Musyoka also noted that Kenya requires subsidies for agricultural products to make food production profitable in order to attain food security.
He also said that marginalised and minority communities would receive their "fair share of national cake" as equal members of the society.
The VP, who is on his third day tour of the North Rift while addressing Sabaot leaders urged them to identify true leadership qualities of aspirants and enlighten voters to elect the right candidates in the General Election.
“Your vote will determine your lives and destiny of this great nation. Do not gamble with it, we need leaders of substance who will steer this country to greater heights of prosperity," he said.
He assured members of the community that the existing land issues would be solved amicably with the assistance of the newly formed Land Commission.
