SHOCK: Mungiki taking dog’s blood in Murang’a to support RAILA

Friday July 27, 2012-The Mungiki inferno is back! This time the outlawed group has reloaded itself into a cult with heinous and beastly acts.

Residents of Saba Saba village in Murang'a County, are counting losses after  26 dogs went missing in what was established as part of Mungiki plan to slaughter dogs for an oathing ceremony to declare their allegiance to Raila Odinga.

One adherent of the group, who leaked information to the DAILY POST, said they are taking dog’s blood as an oath, in order to have courage to campaign for the presidential aspirant in the region.

The adherent who was in his early 20’s said since the ban on MRC has been lifted, they will also pressurise the government to lift the ban of being an outlawed group.

The group which is now growing fast is now recruiting young school boys and girls in neigbouring areas of Kigumo, Maragua and Kirinyaga areas in a bid to restore their supremacy in Central region before the next general election.

One resident, who spoke to the DAILY POST on condition of anonymity, said they are living in fear since the group has even forced the residents to declare their allegiance to a particular candidate or face dire consequences.

Mungiki movement was formed in mid 1980’s as a religious movement, but it degenerated to a “killing machine” in the 2000’s and reigned atrocities to residents of Nairobi, Central Kenya and parts of Rift Valley.
