Raila did not honour women

Saturday July 7, 2012 - The just concluded launch of a website by Prime Minister Raila Odinga has brought tension in the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) especially from women within.
A section of a women political lobby group has accused the Prime Minister of not honouring any women in his tag on the website “fallen heroes of struggle”.
The lobby said Raila sidelined women involved in the struggle for multiparty giving an example of late environmentalist Prof Wangari Maathai.
The women wrote to the PM on Friday and asked him to explain to Kenyans whether it is only men who fought for independence and second liberation of this beautiful country.
