MUDAVADI is the best leader for PRESIDENCY

Thursday July 26, 2012 - Education Minister Mutula Kilonzo has added a new boost to Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi’s quest for presidency, after he said that he is the best leader to succeed President Kibaki.

Mutula said he had worked with Mudavadi when he was Minister for Metropolitan Development while the DPM was Local Government Minister.

“I am a Wiper Democratic Party, but I can tell you that you are lucky to have a good leader like Mudavadi…he is humble, calm and stable .Our country requires such leaders,” Mutula said.

During his visit to Mudavadi Vihiga County on Wednesday, Mutula who is also Mbooni legislator told residents that other presidential aspirants are pretenders and tainted by mega corruption scandals and other questionable deals.

The minister said “Mudavadi takes interest in reforms daily. Those who say he cannot spearhead implementation of the new constitution don’t know him”

He urged voters in the region to shun leaders who have been named in recent corruption scandals.
