Busy weekend for aspirants

Presidential aspirants have a busy campaign schedule this weekend. Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka and Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi will take their campaigns to the vote rich Rift Valley region. Eldoret North MP William Ruto will be in the North Rift before heading to Western. Kalonzo will be in Trans Nzoia and West Pokot counties while UDF's Mudavadi, who met Islamic leaders in Mombasa yesterday, will be in Bomet and Kericho counties.
Kalonzo will today hold a leader’s meeting in Kapenguria before laying a foundation stone for the GK prison staff houses. He will  open a laboratory at Cheboyet Secondary school before holding a public rally in the afternoon. He will hold a meeting with the Sabaot leaders at Endebes before proceeding to Kitale for a public rally tomorrow. He will wind up is three day tour with a church service at the Kitale AIC on Sunday.
Ruto will be in Kwanza this morning, Kitale at mid-day and Cherangany in the afternoon. He heads to Teso for a rally on Saturday and will wind up his campaigns with a church service in Kakamega on Sunday. Prime Minister Raila Odinga, who has just returned from China, will this morning be confined in the city where he will chair ODM's National Governing Council meeting at the  Bomas of Kenya.
The NGC has been called to ratify the new nomination rules and regulations ahead of ODMs impending National Delegates Convention later this year. Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua will be in Kiambu while former education Permanent secretary, James Kiyiapi, will head to the Coast. Kiyiapi will address the Annual General Meeting of the Architectural Association of Kenya in a Mombasa hotel this morning before meeting Rebuild and Restore Kenya aspirants in the afternoon. He will have a 'working dinner' with the Mombasa business community on Saturday.
