A Catholic priest has been threatening a journalist after he discovered that both are involved in an affair with the same woman. The priest also looks after two children which the woman claims are his. The journalist is reportedly the father of the children. The journalist made the threats after the woman threatened to take him to court for maintenance after he walked out on her and the children.

The residents of Kaloleni in Nairobi cowered in their homes two weeks ago as known thugs engaged in a fire fight. The gangsters who live next to the social hall have intimidated the residents to such an extent that they are unwilling to talk to the authorities about the incident or the gangs which have imposed an unofficial curfew. It seems the appointment of a new police boss at Makongeni has only made matters worse as the much publicised community policing seems not to work.

A politician known for making virulent attacks on the PM Raila Odinga miffed Ruto as he went rambling on and on about how great he (Ruto) is.

Nairobi police chief Anthony Kibuchi should be aware that some of his men and some City Council askaris have formed a cartel that is extorting money from the residents. The cartel has set up a kangaroo court in one of the council vehicles — KAW 694 Z — where they take their hapless victims for 'milking' of all the money they have in the guise they will otherwise be arrested and charged with some trumped up crimes.
