Narok University has opened its doors in Mumias. The deputy principal in charge of academics Professor Joseph Chacha said the branch in Mumias will cut down on expenses incurred by students who travel to distant towns for higher learning. “This essentially means that learners who have been travelling to distant places in search of the papers will acquire them at their doorsteps,” Chacha said. Chacha said they will start with most relevant and market-driven courses. He was speaking while signing a memorandum of understanding with St Angela Vocational School for Deaf Girls where the university has put up its facilities.
