UHURU tells MUDAVADI not to chicken out of NDC

Monday, the 17th of December 2012 -Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta has told his rival for the Jubilee alliance Presidential ticket not to back out of facing him in tomorrow’s National Delegates Conference at the Kasarani Gymnasium.

Uhuru said that only the delegates will decide the fate of the presidential contestants and so Mudavadi should ‘embrace courage and contest.’

Uhuru made the comments while on the campaign stump in Charity Ngilu’s Kitui backyard. Uhuru is accompanied by ally William Ruto.

The comments are believed to be in response to grumblings from the Mudavadi camp that the DPM will not attend tomorrow’s NDC at Kasarani even as rumors continue to circulate that it may be ‘fixed’ in his favour by power brokers connected with State House.
