Juja MP William Kabogo has criticised Prime Minister Raila Odinga's sentiments on prayer rallies. Kabogo told Raila to stop interfering with rallies organised by Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North MP Willaim Ruto. He told Raila to concentrate on the affairs of ODM. “He is saying my brothers Uhuru and Ruto should not continue with their prayer rallies. How can a person deny others an opportunity to pray when they have problems? He should leave them alone,” Kabogo said.
The Juja MP spoke on Monday at Nzambani in Kitui county where he had accompanied Internal Security minister George Saitoti. Others who attended the meeting were Water minister Charity Ngilu and Mutito MP Kiema Kilonzo. He supported the March 4, 2013 election date set by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission. Kabogo who is contesting for the governorship of Kiambu county called on Saitoti and Ngilu to join Uhuru in preparations for the forthcoming elections.
