Police hunt for woman linked to al-Shabaab

Police last evening released details of a woman they suspect to be an informer of Somalia militia group al- Shabaab militia group. Police Spokesman Eric Kiraithe said they were looking for 26-year old Natalie Faye who had entered the country through the Namanga border point on August 25 this year. She is said to be carrying a South African passport A 01524783 issued on January 31 2011.
Police released a copy of the passport and her picture claiming she also came through the country using Lunga Lunga border earlier in February. “She is believed to be in the country travelling in the company of her three children one girl and two boys.” “The girl is approximately 10 years while the boys are about eight and five respectively,” reads the statement by the police spokesman.
Kiraithe said they were looking for the woman for interrogation and appealed to members of the public to assist in tracking her. “Kenya Police has cause to believe that the said Natalie Faye has information regarding some suspects connected to the al–Shabaab. The said Natalie Faye is therefore required to report to the nearest Police Station or police officer,” said Kiraithe The woman is said to be carrying a South African passport whose authentication police could not verify.
