Two presidential candidates from the G7 Alliance on Sunday took their campaigns to Taita Taveta where they reiterated that they will stick together to produce a single candidate in next year’s elections.
Vice-President Kalonzo Musyoka and Eldoret North MP William Ruto said they had agreed to remain united in the battle for presidency.
“We have agreed never to allow Kenyans to fight over political competition and that is why we are solidifying our unity to ensure that we produce a candidate that will win without dispute,” he said.
Speaking at Mwakishimba Anglican Church in Werugha where he attended a Sunday service, the VP said if elected president he would bring change that the three regimes have failed to offer to the electorate.
Mr Ruto said he had officially joined United Democratic movement (UDM).
