Speculation is rife that clerks at the High Court registry in Kisumu have been instructed to hide the file of a fraud case involving a prominent Kisumu lawyer. The lawyer and four other individuals are accused of conning a developer out of Sh6 million in the pretext that they would sell him land at Dago area in Riat, Kisumu. Efforts by journalists to get the file have been fruitless which is reminiscent of the bad old ways which the CJ Willy Mutunga has promised to get rid of.
