This emerged after Safina Party presidential aspirant Paul Muite and Imenti Central Mp Gitobu Imanyara in an official complaint to the electoral commission claimed that Provincial Administrators in the larger Mt Kenya region had been instructed to campaign for Kenyatta and were harassing his political rivals by blocking them from holding civic education meetings.
