Celebrity waiters’ for a day was a success



“Celebrity waiters” at Ranalo (Kosewe) restaurant serving for “Kenyans for Kenya
Last Friday (26th) at Kosewe (Ranalo Foods) was a show of solidarity like no other. Kenyan celebrities showed up in support of the Kenyans for Kenya initiative through Juliani’s Kama Si Sisi ‘Celebrities for Kenya’Challenge where they raised money through their service as waiters which in return attracted tips from the happy customers.
Juliani, Jeff Koinange, Nameless, BMF, DJ Soxxy, DJ Celeb, Avril, Daddy Owen, Pierra, MarcusOlang, Eckoddya , John Allan Namu ,DJ Pinye, Nonini, Wahu ,Jimmy Gait, Valerie Kimani and Neema Ntalel were the celebrity waiters of the day as they went around taking orders and serving customers at the very busy restaurant, and the customers did not disappoint with the tips.
“We are honored to have been able to serve our fans for a charitable cause,” they collectively said. The drive managed to raise a total of Ksh 135, 300 (74,300 in tips and 51,000 for purchase of ‘Kenyans for Kenya’ T-shirts and an additional 10,000 from the hosting restaurant, Ranalo (Kosewe) Foods.)  There is planned a presentation of the money collected next week to Safaricom’s Bob Collymore, one of the steering committee members of the Kenyans for Kenya Initiative by Juliani and the participating celebrities.
