Housing Assistant Minister Bishop Margaret Wanjiru has bee summoned by Criminal Investigation Department (CID) over remarks she made in connection with the Uhuru Park attack on a No rally.
The Starehe Member of Parliament is reported to have blamed the explosion that left six people dead killing and scores others injured on the YES camp.
Wanjiru's summoning comes ahead of a planned prayer meeting by her colleagues and church leaders in the NO camp at the Uhuru park to cleanse the grounds following the grenade attack.
The National Council of Churches blamed the attack on the government and supporters of the draft constitution.
