An MP allied to Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta has said a "divorce" will be inevitable with Musalia Mudavadi if talks to pick either of them as the Jubilee flag bearer do not materialise.
Igembe South MP Mitika Linturi said if Mudavadi does not agree to the delegates system, then they will not have any option but to end the relationship.
“We have been very tolerant as TNA and what we are asking UDF is who is bringing what to the table in terms of votes,” he said.
Speaking at Jacaranda Hotel in Westlands, Linturi said they have had several meetings which had not produced “anything”.
He was speaking after a meeting in which minister Soita Shitanda, Abdi Kadir and Bonny Khalwale led those of UDF in carrying out talks with TNA's ministers Jamlek Kamau, Kareke Mbiuki and MP William Kabogo. The meeting was attended by 13 MPs.
