Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi should have swallowed his pride and faced the delegates’ method of nomination to decide who between him and Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta carries the flag in Jubilee Alliance to face off with the Cord Alliance.
If Mudavadi believes in democracy, for which he ran away from ODM, which he believed was not democratic, why then does he want boardroom deals? He also believes he is a neutral candidate who is likeable and acceptable to everyone.
This is the very reason he should have faced it off with Uhuru Kenyatta through delegates. The delegates would definitely settle on him if indeed he was as neutral and likeable as he said.
When he ran from ODM, he favoured the county delegates system while Odinga’s camp favoured the National Delegates method, what has since changed that Mudavadi now wanted consensus and boardroom deals?
