ROADS minister Franklin Bett has said he is ready to be a running mate of any strong presidential contender in the coming general election. Bett, who said he will not seek for re-election as Bureti MP, said he is ready to be a running mate of a presidential candidate of any political party.Speaking in Kipkelion at the weekend during the burial of Joseph Kibet Rere, a former driver to retired President Daniel Moi, Bett said he is not taking sides in the current tussle between Prime Minister Raila Odinga and his deputy Musalia Mudavadi but would be happy to be a running mate to whoever gets the nod from ODM members. He said he is not interested in the post of senator for Kericho county but is considering vying for governor.
