Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s former advisor on Coalition Affairs Miguna Miguna has claimed his life is in danger.
Miguna, who was suspended from duty four months ago, on Saturday visited the Criminal Investigations Department headquarters where he recorded a statement over the threats.
Addressing a news conference at his residence in Runda, Miguna said his relatives had also been threatened.
Miguna said he had received a call from his father-in-law in Migori, informing him four men had visited his home, with orders they wanted communicated to him.
"That’s why I have decided to go public. I will not allow myself to go down quietly," said Miguna.
