Call it a bid to woo more voters but Narc Kenya presidential candidate Martha Karua has lately opened up to all sorts of entertainment and supporting talent whenever she can. It started with a musical collaboration with Juliani and dancing to Size Eight's Fire to hanging out with teenagers in a matatu ride.
In the same spirit the iron lady on Tuesday morning visited the Kiss TV show XYZ set at the Godown Art centre in Industrial Area and met the crew and the puppets of the show. Martha who is the first politician to visit the politically charged set, commended the show for being innovative and fresh in communicating to Kenyans and the rest of the world through it's online presence. Martha told Word Is, “The show is great. I think they are good at what they do, that is to inform and entertain.”
She also toured the XYZ workshop to see how the puppets are manufactured before she watched a couple of previous rib-cracking XYZ clips with the crew at Buni editing studio. Martha who praised the independent editorial policy the show has established saying on Twitter “it is a good thing they are doing”, also shot a scene set to be aired soon. XYZ airs on Kiss TV every Sunday at 8pm.
