Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Sunday challenged his opponents to name their flag bearer.
The PM said the G7 — which includes Vice-President Kalonzo Musyoka, Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta, Eldoret North MP William Ruto and Saboti MP Eugene Wamalwa — should name the person who is going to challenge him in next year’s polls.
Mr Odinga was speaking in Eastleigh while campaigning for ODM candidate Ibrahim Mohamed for the Kamukunji by-election slated for Thursday.
Party of choice
“I am a cat which a lot of mice are fearing and one should come out now and face me,” he said.
He dismissed parties associated with G7 candidates, saying they are tribal outfits.
“Some are not popular beyond a district, county or a province,” the PM said. ODM is becoming popular each fortnight and it will be the party of choice in next year’s polls, he added.
“ODM is reigning in every corner of the country, including Mandera, Wajir, Eldoret, Nairobi and Othaya itself,” the PM said.
