The suspect was happy that his ally had been sworn into office and is looking forward to be protected for sometime to come. Those in attendance at the lavish party included MPs and some senior government operatives.

The man is said to be planning to step out of the interview he has been invited to attend after a former client sent him a text message threatening to expose some of his past dirty deals. The lawyer prefers forfeiting the job instead of facing embarrassment through public scrutiny.

Whose maize was it?That is the question being asked of over 800 bags of maize that for several months was hidden at a godown in Athi River. A group of 11 young men hired by the owner to load the maize have been working at the godown for several days while operating from  single room rented near the go down. Despite city millers shutting down ,the owner of the mysterious Athi River maize said to be an MP  transported his load to Eldoret in trucks.
