The Director of the 'Yes' Campaign for the Proposed Constitution Peter Kagwanja was carjacked and robbed of his valuables along Nairobi-Murang'a highway.
Kagwanja is said to have been riding in Energy Minister Kiraitu Murungi's car when gunmen struck on Sunday night.
Police said the 'Yes' official was travelling to the city in company of Kiraitu's driver when they were attacked and robbed before being abandoned in Maragwa area
Central Police chief John Kaua said no arrest had been made but added that his offers were hunting down the criminals.
