Police rescued a woman and her four year old child in Dagoretti Corner  after her husband threatened to kill her following a domestic quarrel.
The woman had posted a distress message on her Facebook page stating that she had locked her husband outside of the house after he attempted to strangle.
"He is outside and has said that I will sleep in the mortuary tonight.Anyone along Kikuyu road please help me and come with the police because I sense danger...I have a four month old" the post read in part.
Riruta Satellite police OCS Bernard Ng'eno said his officers received a call from a good Samaritan who responded to the post stating that a woman's life was in danger.
Ng'eno said there was a struggle between the police and the husband who was drunk during his arrest. He said the man is still custody and the couple will record a statement over the incident.
