Four officers in President Uhuru Kenyatta advanced security team died following a road accident at Archer's Post in Isiolo on Tuesday.
The four who were officers from the elite recce squad had been deployed to Archer's Post to carry out a security surveillance ahead of Uhuru's visit to the area on Thursday.
While confirming the incident, Rift Valley Regional Coordinator Gideon Amala said the rear right tire of the vehicle the officers were travelling in burst, causing the car to lose control and roll several times. He said the four died on the spot.
