Escaped prisoner Richard Matt was shot and wounded by authorities today, 20 days after he elaborately escaped from an upstate New York prison.
Matt and convicted murderer David Sweat escaped from the Clinton Correctional Facility early June 6. More than 1,100 officers have been involved in the search.
