Narc-Kenya Presidential aspirant Martha Karua has accused her rivals of rushing to form coalitions to hoodwink voters ahead of next year’s General Election.
Ms Karua said the outfits were tribal and Kenyans should reject those behind them since the leaders had been involved in numerous scandals.
She added that some of her rivals were trying to reinvent themselves to stay in power when they had nothing new to offer.
“Some of my competitors have formed coalitions to hoodwink voters that they can offer better leadership. They are hypocrites who cannot be trusted to lead the country,” said the Gichugu MP during campaign rallies at Eregi and Khayega in Kakamega County.
Ms Karua who was accompanied by former East African Legislative Assembly MP Augustine Lotodo said she was prepared to tackle corruption and impunity without fear if elected the next president.

She accused President Kibaki and Prime Minister Raila Odinga of failing to deal with corruption.
“I was forced to resign as a Cabinet minister after realising it was business as usual in government as corruption thrived among close allies of the two principals and they did nothing about it,” explained Ms Karua.
