Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka on Sunday urged Kenyans to embrace the culture of forgiveness as the nation prepares to go through transition in March next year.

“We should learn to accept each other as Kenyans irrespective of the tribe one comes from if we are to build one strong and united nation,” he added.
He made the remarks after a Sunday service at the Presbyterian Church of East Africa, Riruta Parish in Dagoretti Constituency.
Mr Musyoka said Kenyans should discard the culture of fear that always creeps around election time and the only way to do that is not to be guided by tribal affiliations.

He said consultations with Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) are ongoing and urged their supporters to be fully united behind the team that will seek to unite Kenyans and rally them towards fast-tracking the economic growth.
“This country has a potential to achieve great economic and social transformation and after the coming election it will be all systems go to make Kenya a prosperous nation,” he noted.
