Friday, December 14, 2012 - For a while now the departure of K24’s The Bench host Jeff Koinange has been a romour after news that he may be in for a multi million shillings deal with a foreign channel.
It’s now official Jeff Koinange called it quits yesterday and handed over his resignation and is said to be headed to South Africa where his wife and son are based. He is said to have been offered the position of Chief anchor at Arise Africa, a position he held while working with CNN.
The media house – Arise Africa is the first Africa international media house which will be broadcasting around the world. The media house is owned by Nigerian business mogul Nduka Obaigbena who is also the founder of a Nigerian paper THISDAY.
Arise Africa will be broadcasting live in major cities around the world like New York, New Delhi, Johannesburg, Beijing, Lagos and many other cities.
It is still not clear how K24 will fill in the gap that Jeff leaves since his show The Bench was the face of the station.
