Thursday November 8, 2012 - News reaching our news desk indicates that Garsen MP Danson Mungatana is set to decamp Martha Karua’s party the Narc Kenya to Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta’s bandwagon The National Alliance (TNA) party on Saturday.
Sources close to the MP said Mungatana is set to announce his defection at a TNA rally in Nyahururu town over the weekend.
This is a big boost to DPM Uhuru Kenyatta Presidential bid, as he is trying to solidify his Coast vote ahead of the forthcoming general election.
Uhuru has been trying to look for a pointman at the coast and Mungatana may be a replacement.
