This is SHOCKING from the same KIBAKI government - MUNGATANA fumes

Thursday August 23, 2012 - In the past two days Kenyans have witnessed a mass massacre of 62 innocent Kenyans, the worst since the 2007-08 post election violence.

In what is believed to be a revenge attack, members of Orma pastoralist group clashed with Pokomo nomadic group deep in the swamps of Tana delta fighting for control of fertile lands along the river Tana.

In the grisly clash, over 48 women, 13 children and 1 man lost their lives in what was perceived as revenge attacks following numerous raids earlier.

Area politicians and religious have condemned the killings and blamed the government of laxity and neglect.

Garsen MP Danson Mugatana in particular accused the government of laxity and reluctance to stop the attacks.

He accused the National Security Intelligence Service (NSIS) of sleeping on the job of keeping the country safe and secure.

Citing the Tanga incident where 13 church faithful died in a road accident, Mungatana requested the Kibaki administration to move fast as it moved during the Tanga incident.

“All government resources were mobilised during the Tanga road accident, why is the government taking too long to take actions on the massacre? Is there a first class and second class citizens,” Mungatana asked

“The only thing the government has done is to form a commission of inquiry; will a commission of inquiry solve the land problems in the area? he added.

Do you agree with Mungatana assertions?
