Big BOOST for UHURU’s candidate (Former ODM pointman) in Kajiado North

Thursday August 23, 2012-United Republican Party (URP) and Democratic Party (DP) candidates in Kajiado North constituency have decided to step down for The National Alliance (TNA) candidate Moses Ole Sakuda.

This positive move which will be announced on Thursday morning which will see Sakuda, who is a former ODM point man in the region, become the sole candidate of G7 Alliance. 

The unprecedented move came barely hours after the High Court lifted a ban barring him from vying for the Kajiado seat parliamentary seat.

On Wednesday, High Court judge Justice David Majanja ruled that the High Court had no jurisdiction to hear petitions rising from party nominations and that the petitioners should have filed their complaints with the parties’ dispute resolution organs.

Majanja said Sakuda has the right to vie for the parliamentary seat without any court interference.
