SHOCK in ODM: Shebesh to TNA and Laboso to URP (IDA Odinga victims)

Monday August 13, 2012 - It seems all is not well in Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) as news emerged that two top female lieutenants are planning to ditch the Orange party.
The two are nominated MP Rachael Wambui Shebesh who is warming to join Uhuru’s party The National Alliance(TNA) party, and Sotik MP Lorna Laboso who is eying to join Ruto’s party United Republican Party(URP).
According to a source privy to the Orange party who spoke to the DAILY POST on Monday, the two women who have been key pillars of the ODM Reloaded Teamdecided to leave the Orange party due to bad relations with Mama Ida Odinga.
Mama Ida, who is the wife of Prime Minister Raila Odinga, has been on the spotlight over her highhandedness in handling her husband’s presidential campaign.
Bishop Margaret Wanjiru has also threatened Raila that she will quit ODM if she is not given a full ministerial position before the end of the week.
Prime Minister Raila Odinga, who is on official duty abroad, has promised to engage the three in dialogue when he jets back in the country on Monday evening.
