RUTO's witness at ICC and Emmy Kosgei’s FATHER joins POLITICS

First it was Bishop Margaret Wanjiru who won the Starehe parliamentary seat. Then Pastor Pius Muiru tried his luck on the field but failed.
Now, gospel songstress Emmy Kosgei's father is joining politics. Jackson Kosgei is on the race for the Baringo County senator seat where he will be against strong contestant Gideon Moi - son to retired president Moi.
Apparently, Bishop Jackson Kosgei of the Worldwide Gospel Churches of Kenya met up with members of the clergy last week to come up with a winning formula.
While addressing the media, Kosgei said, “Delegations of people from the expansive Baringo area have been coming to my house, urging me to vie for the post, and after consultations, I have decided to heed the people's call."
His daughter Emmy is famed for hits such as, ‘Taunet nelel’ and ‘Ololo’. Kosgei was one of the witnesses of William Ruto during the confirmation hearings at The Hague. Since the event, he has received a lot of publicity pushing him to seek for the post.
