Prime Minister Raila Odinga has appealed to Kenyans to give him a chance to complete the development agenda his party has for the country.
Addressing ODM delegates from Uasin Gishu, Nandi and Elgeyo-Marakwet in Eldoret at the weekend, Mr Odinga said his side of the coalition had done a lot to improve governance.
He was accompanied by Cabinet ministers Sally Kosgei (Agriculture), Margaret Kamar (Higher Education), Musa Sirma (East African Community) and James Orengo (Lands).
A forced marriage
Others in the entourage were Education assistant minister Ayiecho Olweny, Energy assistant minister Magerer Lang’at, Environment assistant minister Julius Murgor and assistant minister in the office of the Prime Minister Alfred Khang’ati.
Mr Odinga said ODM would implement its policies fully when he ascended to the presidency and warned Kenyans to be wary of those spreading propaganda that he was behind The Hague trials.
“We have done a lot given that we were not fully in control. We entered a forced marriage to unite the country,” he said.
