Joe touches down in Nairobi on Thursday

Household RnB name Joe Thomas lands in Nairobi on Thursday morning ahead of his widely anticipated concert this weekend courtesy of Tusker Lite.
Joe will be accompanied by his manager and some band members on his first visit ever to Kenya, which will carry across three days.
The concert comes a year after the musician released his latest album The Good The Bad and The Sexy, which debuted at no.8 on The Billboard 200 and no.2 on the Hot R N’ B/Hip Hop Albums Chart.
Joe will be hosted on the Jam by presenters Cess and Maqbul on Thursday afternoon.
Aside from his newest tracks, a lot of his performance at the Bomas of Kenya on Saturday, March 31 is expected to centre on songs that contributed to his worldwide superstar status; from his album ‘All That I Am’.
The other artists lined up for the show are June Gachui, who will be backed by gifted strummer-man Eddie Grey, and the up and coming Nairobi band Different Faces.
The musical revelry kicks off at about 6pm and is expected to go well into the wee hours of Sunday.
Fans have already started snapping up the tickets at Sh3000 each, available at all Bartons and Mellabloom stores in Village Market, Westgate, Junction and Prestige Plaza. Tickets can also be bought onwww.capitalfm.co.ke and the Capital FM offices.
This is the second edition of The Tusker Lite Experience, which last year played host to neo soul hot-shot Donell Jones.
Other sponsors of this intimate concert are Capital Group Limited, The Tribe Hotel and G4S. Entry is restricted for revelers under the age of 18.
