INTERPOL in Nairobi yesterday denied having received any request to apprehend Miguna Miguna, Raila Odinga's former adviser on Coalition Affairs. “We have not received such a request or any report on such a matter,” said a senior CID officer attached to Interpol in Nairobi. MP Fred Outa told journalists at Kisumu airport on Tuesday that he had a dossier showing that Interpol once had him on a list of people they wanted to question.
Miguna worked as a barrister and mediator in Canada for 15 years before returning to work with ODM in 2007. He was suspended from his post in August 2011. Yesterday, when asked to comment on Outa's claims, a furious Miguna only said that the allegation was not true and insisted that any further information should be sought from Interpol.
