Bifwoli Wakoli to run for presidency

Bumula Member of Parliament Bifwoli Wakoli will run for the presidency if he gets the Ford - Kenya party nomination.
Wakoli who was speaking during the funeral service of wildlife minister Dr. Noah Wekesa's mother in law said that he would however support Sirisia MP Moses Wetangula if he emerges as the party nominee.
Speaking at the same function, FORD-Kenya Secretary General and Kimilili MP, Dr. Eseli Simiyu said the party nominations will be done in the right way and whoever gets the party bid will get backing form the party.
He added the all aspirants who wanted to run on the FORD-Kenya ticket should be aware of the Political Parties Act and know that the law does not permit people moving from one party to another.
The party has also declared support for Deputy Chief Justice (DCJ) Nancy Barasa saying they will pay for her lawyers when the matter goes to court.
The Maendeleo ya Wanawake National Treasurer Naomi Okul said the Deputy CJs issue had been blown out of proportion, adding that women would not give up until the two women reconcile.
