A top lawyer who once served in one of the many commissions may soon appear before the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission to record a statement on fraud. We are told that the lawyer whose fortunes had dwindled has suddenly regained his high spending and flashy lifestyle. Unfortunately, the return of the good times coincides with a complaint filed at the EACC by one of his clients who claims the lawyer had taken from him some substantial amount of money without any intention of returning it.

A top ODM leader in Nairobi was overheard bragging loudly how the party is not the mama na baba that Kanu was. The man, whose election at the branch is being contested, was not happy when one of the party's MPs in the city referred to his team as comprising of masqueraders and detractors out to finish to the party leader. The man vowed he will quit the party once it became ungovernable.

Civil servants in Homa Bay county are pleading with the PS for Provincial administration to recall a senior civil servant who has been taking advantage of his position to harass his subordinates' wives and girlfriends. The civil servants claim the man has been dating their wives and has ignored their pleas to keep off. One of them, tired of the man's action and determined to expose the man's philandering ways recently came to the office dressed in the man's clothes. The exasperated junior civil servant found the clothes at his house following one of his boss' clandestine visit with his wife. The junior officer said it was the only way of telling his boss that he is aware of his relationship with his wife.

The acronym of Eldoret North MP William Ruto's new party, the United Republican Party has quickly got some Kenyan wags talking. Suggestions of what the acronym stands for has excited netizens. The most popular new meaning of URP is Ukiona Ruto Potea (If you see Ruto, disappear!)
