Uhuru says ICC charges are passing cloud

Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta has told those who set him up in the post election violence that their falsehood will soon be proved wrong. He said he was aware of the architects of his post-election violence links but reminded them that the truth shall triumph in the end.

Speaking during the closing ceremony of the Mwea Classic Marathon at Mwea Boy’s High School grounds, the Gatundu South legislator said that he was confident the matter pending at The Hague would at one point come to an end.

Accompanied by legislators Eugene Wamalwa, Aden Duale, Gitari Gachoki and Ferdinand Waititu, Uhuru urged students to ensure they can compete in the labour market.

"Unless you excel both professionally and academically the job market is so small," he said. Wamalwa assured the gathering the G7 alliance was prepared to form the next government. "There are some prophets of doom who are wishing our alliance evil but we will stay on cause until we form the next government," Wamalwa said.
